The Tread frame is engineered from a high-performance rubber composite designed for active wear. What sets it apart is its adaptive material response—when exposed to heat and moisture, such as body heat and sweat, the frame becomes increasingly tacky, enhancing grip and staying securely in place during intense movement. The frame is also highly moldable, allowing it to be custom-shaped to your head for a personalized, secure fit. Uniquely, the Tread features an extended frame length compared to traditional sports eyewear. This intentional design provides added structural support beyond the ears, helping to distribute weight more evenly and reduce pressure points. The extended arms also help balance the frame and allow the front of the glasses to “float” more comfortably on the face, minimizing bounce and maximizing stability through rapid movement or long matches.
Attaching Frames to Lenses
🔹 If you are holding the lens in your left hand, take one temple and at a 45-degree angle, hook the U clip of the temple underneath the mushroom-shaped pin in the middle side of the glass.
**If you do not put the U clip UNDER the pin, you may accidentally eject the pin… this not a defect in the lens integrity.
🔹 Once the U is in place, rotate the temple away from you and closer to the snaps on the lens
🔹 One-at-a-time, pinch the snaps to secure the temple to the side of the lens.

Scratch your plano (non-prescription) lenses? Send them back and get a replacement for $120 (+ $25 for polarized lenses, plus S&H). Lenses must be returned directly to Pilla—not a dealer.
🔹 1-Year Frame Warranty
Frames are covered for 1 year against manufacturing defects (with proof of purchase). Normal wear and misuse are not covered.
🔹 Repairs
Need a fix? Call for a return authorization (RA) number. Repairs start at $25 plus shipping.
🔹 Returns (Non-Rx Only)
New, unused non-prescription items can be returned within 30 days (with RA number). A $25 restocking fee per item applies. Shipping is non-refundable.
🔸 Prescription items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
