MEET THE PRO
Jorja Johnson moved from Kansas to Florida with her family so her brother, fellow pickleball standout JW Johnson, could focus on a tennis career. Without a tennis background of her own, Jorja discovered pickleball as her family sought community after relocating to Naples, Florida, and quickly found a lifelong passion for the sport.
An emerging young star, Jorja is recognized as one of the youngest and most aggressive competitors on tour. She began playing pickleball at just seven years old and turned professional in 2021 at the age of 15, rapidly establishing herself among the elite ranks of the game.
Her accolades include a Women’s Singles US Open title, being named the 2025 Major League Pickleball MVP, and earning a 2024 MLP Championship with the Dallas Flash. Currently ranked No. 2 in the world in mixed doubles on the Carvana PPA Tour alongside her brother JW, Jorja also serves on the PPA Tour Players Council board. Across her professional career, she has earned six gold medals in singles, 17 in women’s doubles, and 21 in mixed doubles, reflecting her consistency and dominance at the highest level of competition.
